Earlier this month, RepuCare quite literally “took a hike.” Our team headed to Holliday Park in Indianapolis for a structured team-building retreat facilitated by DNK Presents. The experience provided the people who power our organization with an opportunity to step outside the office, strengthen interpersonal connections, and intentionally focus on health and wellness, while enjoying the benefits of the natural environment. By sharing personal and professional goals and collaborating through a series of guided team-building exercises, the group was able to laugh, learn, and grow together. The day brought new experiences for everyone, including Billie’s very first hiking experience.
RepuCare Supervisor Marion Robinson reflected on the day: “I want to thank [Billie] for giving me the opportunity to participate in a team building exercise at Holliday Park. I got a lot out of the hike with my colleagues and it inspired me to be more proactive in incorporating exercise in my daily routine. I found the park to be a great place to take a nice, but challenging walk. It’s a great place to connect with nature. I believe the opportunity will increase my health and quality of life because it showed me my knees are in better shape than I thought. Again, thank you and I believe your investment was well worth it.”
Investing in opportunities that support team cohesion, resiliency, and well-being is central to RepuCare’s philosophy and to the way we serve our partners and communities. We extend our thanks to DNK Presents for hosting our team and helping us live out this commitment in a meaningful way. Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome more experiences like this as we continue to strengthen our team and grow our organization.
