Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (HEDIS) Position:
• Ensure HEDIS data accuracy and reporting, including investigation, auditing, and improvement opportunities
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives in the service and clinical areas
• Perform accurate medical record review for quality initiatives.
• Coordinate, complete, and update management on clinical quality metrics and HEDIS processes and results
• Conduct quality audit and maintain all data and process controls to ensure compliance
• Schedule appointments with the provider in a designated territory and responsible for medical record extraction
• Enter and scan pertinent and supporting information from the medical record into a laptop application
• Performs over-reads on HEDIS records
• Reviews and abstracts paper and electronic medical records
• Utilizes NCQA, HEDIS Technical specification to optimize Plan HEDIS scores
• Performs complete and accurate data entry of qualifying services and results into HEDIS electronic database software
• Identifies and communicates patterns of missing documentation for the assessment of additional records

Requirements

Requirements of Registered Nurse (HEDIS) Position:


• Registered Nurse (RN) license required in state of Indiana, will consider LPN with previous experience.


• Medical record review experience, HEDIS experience preferred.


• EMR experience necessary


• Charting, chart auditing experience helpful


• Strong computer skills.

About the Company

RepuCare, a healthcare solutions agency, is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (HEDIS) for a 6 month contract with for a large Managed Care Organization in downtown Indianapolis. The ideal candidates should be able to perform in a high production environment and should have HEDIS, chart auditing, chart review, and/or EMR experience.

This project will run from November to May and will be performed 100% remotely.
